adidas US gives 30% off select full-price items to military, first responders, nurses, medical providers, hospital employees, teachers and seniors who verify with ID.me. It is a big percentage with three strings attached: the discount is capped at $250, it is one use per customer, and the current offer expires December 31, 2026. Students have a separate program through UNiDAYS.

Checked on October 7, 2026 against the adidas offer terms published by ID.me, adidas’ verification partner, and the adidas student offer on UNiDAYS. adidas.com blocks automated reading, so we quote the partner terms word for word.
The $250 cap: when 30% is worth the most
30% of $833 is $250, so the discount stops growing at about $833 of eligible full-price items. Because you can use it only once, the best moment is a single larger order, for example new running shoes plus training gear for the season.
30% off eligible items. The adidas discount stops at $250 per customer (one use), which you reach after $833 of eligible spending.
A $100 pair of full-price shoes costs $70. A $1,000 order still saves $250, which is 25% overall.
What is excluded
The list is long and covers most of the hyped models, so check it before you build a cart:
- Select Gazelle, select Samba, Campus, SL 72, select Spezial
- 4D, select Ultraboost, select adizero, select NMD
- Select Stan Smith, select Superstar, limited edition Originals
- Y-3 (select), Pharrell x adidas, Disney, Human Made
- Final Sale products, gift cards, purchases on the Confirmed app
- Prior purchases, non-US orders
Sale items are out too, because the offer covers select full-price items only.
How to use it
- Go to the adidas discount programs page and choose your group.
- Verify with ID.me. If you already have an ID.me account from another retailer, the same login works.
- Shop full-price items that are not on the exclusion list. The discount is applied at checkout after verification.
Students: a different program
adidas runs its student discount through UNiDAYS, not ID.me. UNiDAYS describes it as an ongoing 15% off full-price items for college and university students and recent graduates, and in October 2026 it shows a temporary 30% off full price online. UNiDAYS also lists 10% off in adidas Stores and adidas Outlet Stores. High school students are not covered. The student discount does not combine with other promotions.
adidas vs Nike
| adidas US | Nike | |
|---|---|---|
| Discount | 30% off select full-price items | 10% off most items |
| Limit | Up to $250, one use | First $500 per code, new code every 7 days |
| Sale items | No (full price only) | Not excluded by Nike’s terms |
| Verification | ID.me | SheerID |
One big order: adidas wins. Regular smaller orders through the year: Nike’s weekly 10% adds up. Full Nike rules: Nike military, nurse and teacher discount.
What other sites get wrong
- “30% online and in adidas stores, 15% at outlets.” The current terms we can verify cover adidas.com/us only. In-store percentages for these groups are not confirmed by any adidas or ID.me page we could read.
- “Two discounts per month online, one per month in store.” This looks like an older version of the program. The current terms say one use per customer.
- Many pages leave out the $250 cap and the December 31, 2026 end date entirely.
- “30% is the standard student rate.” UNiDAYS calls the ongoing student rate 15%. 30% is a temporary boost.
